PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which demographic information about a user may be unavailable.SOLUTION: A plurality of photographs posted by a user to a social media Website are acquired, a plurality of face images of the acquired photographs are identified, and on the basis of a selected subset of the face images, at least one demographic characteristic of the user is estimated. In order to select the subset of the face images, a profile photograph of the user is acquired from the social media Website, a clustering algorithm which groups the plurality of face images to a plurality of clusters is applied, and a cluster in the plurality of clusters that match the acquired profile photograph most may be selected. The selected subset of the face images may include the face image of the selected cluster. |
