PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus and an installation method therefor, enabling preventing the occurrence of damage in the apparatus caused by forgetting removal of a fixing member at installation work.SOLUTION: At the installation of the electronic apparatus having a movable part and operated when power is input, the following is executed: after the installation of the electronic apparatus, when inputting power first to operate the movable part, control is made to operate the movable part in a manner that the moving direction of the movable part is set to a preset direction or the driving torque of drive means to move the movable part is decreased. Then, the position of the movable part to be operated by the control is detected. Here, if the movable part is not detected, the abnormality of the movable part is judged, so that a message is displayed on a display unit. |
