PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate adjustment of an amount of developer to be carried, by not only absorbing errors of component dimensions without spoiling the advantage of miniaturization due to application of a doctor roll but also enabling application of image forming units of the same shape to a plurality of wide-ranging models.SOLUTION: When a holding member 6 is rotated, a concave portion 603 is moved on a circle S with a radius R from a center axis of the holding member 6 along with a first end part 401 of a doctor roll 4. The rotation of the holding member 6 is transmitted to a holding member 7 via the doctor roll 4. A hole 701 into which a second end part 402 of the doctor roll 4 is fitted, of the holding member 7 is eccentric by the same amount of eccentricity as that of the concave portion 603 in the holding member 6, and the holding member 7 also is rotated along with the doctor roll 4. The first end part 401 and the second end part 402 of the doctor roll 4 are displaced similarly, and a gap between the doctor roll 4 and a developing roll 3 is varied while the doctor roll 4 is kept parallel with the developing roll 3. |
