PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the crack damage resistance of a notched part while maintaining the rigidity of a bearing ring as a whole.SOLUTION: In a rolling bearing in which a notched part is formed at a face other than a raceway surface of a bearing ring, at least one of the bearing rings is composed of a steel material having a specified composition, a remaining austenite amount of a surface of the raceway surface is 33 to 38 vol.%, surface hardness is HRC 60 to 64, the surface hardness of the notched part is HRC 45 to 55, an austenite crystal grain is not smaller than No. 5 in a grain number, and a circumferential length of the notched part is 0.7 to 2.5% with respect to an outside diameter circumference of the bearing ring at which the notched part is formed. |
