PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric compressor that can restrain the transmission of vibration caused by the driving of a compression part.SOLUTION: An electric compressor according to the present invention comprises: a unit case 15 that houses a motor part 13 and a compression mechanism part 11 for compressing gas with the rotation of the motor part 13; a housing 2 that houses the unit case 15; and two or more damping parts 37 interposed between an outer periphery of the unit case 15 and an inner wall 2a of the housing 2. The damping parts 37 comprise damping members 39 for causing damped vibration and ring-shaped members 41 stacked on surfaces of the damping members 39, are provided on either the outer periphery of the unit case 15 or the inner wall 2a of the housing 2, and are press-fitted to the outer periphery of the unit case 15 or the inner wall 2a of the housing 2 on the other side. |
