PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular engine starter which can share a normal ignition cylinder in a general vehicle in the case of manufacturing a car-sharing vehicle and a general vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicular engine starter 1 comprises: a rotor case 5, which has a case hole 5a communicating with a space part formed inside; a rotor 6, which has a rotor hole 6a communicating with a key insertion hole 6b formed inside and is provided in the space part to be rotatable between a locking position and an unlocking position; and slide pieces 8, 9 provided in the rotor hole 6a of the rotor 6 to be movable in the rotor radial direction. Key removal prevention means that restricts an axial movement of a key plate 31, where a cut-out region fitted into a fitting recess of the slide piece 9 by insertion into the key insertion hole 6b is formed, is configured of the fitting recess and the cut-out region. |
