PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique allowing for suppression of ununiformity of resin distribution.SOLUTION: A method for producing a tank is provided which includes: a helical winding step of helically winding around the tank fibers containing a thermoset resin; and a heat treatment step of thermally curing the thermoset resin. In the helical winding step, the thermoset resin is moved from a surface layer of the wound layer to an inner layer thereof, or from both end sides of the tank to the central side thereof in the axial line direction of the tank while the fibers wound around a dome portion are heated to a room temperature or higher but to a melting point of the thermoset resin or lower.
