PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear processing device which can process a higher-precision gear by cutting work by simultaneously rotating a processing tool and a workpiece at high speed.SOLUTION: A processing tool 42T comprises a rough processing tool blade 422S that roughly processes the tooth bottom ge and both side faces sr, sl of a tooth g, a right-finish processing tool blade 422R that finish-processes the right side face sr of the tooth g, and a left-finish processing tool blade 422L that finish-processes the left side face sl of the tooth g. In this configuration, each of the processing tool blades 422S, 422R, 422L cut a part of the tooth g of a gear G, so that cutting resistance can be reduced to improve the tooth trace precision(tooth trace undulation) of the gear with a suppression in the generation of self-excited oscillation during cutting processing. |
