PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of performing indirect lighting so as to cause a member to be ornamented to show a complex and beautiful outer appearance while design characteristic of the member to be ornamented is being activated without damaging air permeability of the member to be ornamented.SOLUTION: A front grille 11 is a louver of lateral lattices having a plurality of fins 11a. Each of frame members 12, 13 forms a lateral outer frame of the front grille 11. Each of transparent materials 14, 15 is stored in each of the frame members 12, 13. Light emitting surfaces 14a, 15a of each of the transparent materials 14, 15 are arranged along a shape of lateral outer edges of the front grille 11 and positioned at a more front side of a vehicle body CB than each of the fins 11a of the front grille 11. Grille openings 11b for taking surrounding atmosphere into an engine room are formed by the clearance segments between each of the fins 11a. LEDs 16, 17 are oppositely arranged at both end surfaces in a longitudinal direction of the transparent material 14, and LEDs 18, 19 are also oppositely arranged at both end surfaces in a longitudinal direction of the transparent material 15. |
