PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic reduction system capable of reducing regular communication traffic destined to an intra-network server.SOLUTION: A traffic reduction system is a system for reducing regular communication traffic destined to an intra-network server 50. The traffic reduction system comprises: a terminal management server 10 that groups GW devices 20, establishes master-slave relation in one group, and conveys the group information to the GW devices 20; and the GW devices 20 that operate in a master mode or slave mode according to the group information from the terminal management server 10. A GW device 20 operating in the slave mode performs regular communication to a GW device 20 operating in the master mode. The GW device 20 operating in the master mode performs regular communication to the intra-network server 50, and answers regular communication from a GW device 20 operating in the slave mode on the basis of that execution result. |
