PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove stray light, such as a ghost and a flare, which reflects in a dome cover and remarkably deteriorates camera image quality, and to remove a reflected S polarization component from the outside.SOLUTION: A camera apparatus images an image by light from an object to be imaged, and comprises: transmission means for transmitting at least a part of the light from the object to be imaged; imaging means for receiving the light transmitted the transmission means as the image along a predetermined optical path; conversion means for alternately converting a first polarization component and a second polarization component for every transmission; and filter means for transmitting the first polarization component, and blocking the second polarization component, in which the conversion means and the filter means are arranged on the predetermined optical path between the transmission means and the imaging means in order of the transmission means, the conversion means, the filter means, and the imaging means. |
