PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a slide member excellent in corrosion resistance in, for example, an alkali environment and excellent in adhesion between a base material and a diamond like carbon film; a method for manufacturing the same; and an injector including the slide member.SOLUTION: A slide member 1 comprises: a base material 11 consisting of an Fe based alloy; a first intermediate layer 12 formed on the base material; a second intermediate layer 13 formed on the first intermediate layer; and a diamond like carbon film 14 formed on the second intermediate layer. A method for manufacturing the slide member is provided, and an injector includes the slide member 1. The first intermediate layer 12 consists of Cr. The second intermediate layer 13 consists of a polycrystal phase containing Cr and C and has a gradient composition in which a C concentration continuously increases from the first intermediate layer 12 side toward the diamond like carbon film 14 side. The C concentration of the second intermediate layer 13 on the diamond like carbon film 14 side is 40-60 at%. The thickness of the second intermediate layer 13 is 0.3 μm or more.
