PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing low-cost sialon powder capable of synthesizing sialon powder even by firing at a temperature lower than that in the conventional one, and to provide a method for producing sialon powder having reduced particle diameters even without performing pulverization after firing.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing sialon powder where mixed powder made of an Si source and an Al source is prepared, and the mixed powder is fired, in which the Al source being Al-N-H(-O) based compound having an imido group and/or an amido group. |
