The purpose of the present invention is to provide an image transfer/coating method for flat materials, which allows continuous high-resolution transfer for forming particular patterns or images on surfaces of flat materials without bleeding or spreading of inks and allows mass production as well as production of various kinds in small quantities. To this end, the image transfer/coating method for flat materials, which is a non-thermal image transfer/coating method for surfaces of flat materials, comprises: a transfer-target flat material preparation step of preparing a flat material, one surface of which is to be coated with a coating layer; a transfer image printed matter preparation step of preparing printed matter having a transfer image to be transferred to the flat material which is a transfer target; a step of preparing a solvent for transferring ink, which is a medium for transferring the image of the printed matter onto the flat material; an image transfer step of transferring the transfer image of the printed matter to the surface of the flat material by means of the solvent for transferring ink while closely bonding the flat material to the transfer image printed matter and transferring the same; and a post-treatment step of collecting the base paper of the printed matter having the transfer image which has been transferred to the flat material and then post-treating the flat material having the transfer image transferred thereto. |
