PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus capable of reducing power consumption while maintaining readability of characters in printing processing.SOLUTION: Printing processing is executed while density of properties other than characters (graphic and/or image) is adjusted (lowered) according to the battery residual of an image formation apparatus, and a drive current of an ink jet head is thereby suppressed so as to reduce the power consumption of the image formation apparatus. Further, printing is carried out with the ink discharge direction of the ink jet head switched from one direction (normal printing) to both directions according to the battery residual, and the number of times of movement of the ink jet head is thereby decreased to reduce the power consumption of the image formation apparatus. |
