PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a positive electrode having a Ni-based positive electrode active material and excellent in thermal stability; a power storage device; and a technique with which the positive electrode can be manufactured.SOLUTION: A positive electrode includes, in a mixed state, a Ni-based positive electrode active material, and a heat-absorbing material comprising aluminum hydroxide and/or magnesium hydroxide in a positive electrode active material layer.
