PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay system and a switch device that are able to make network management easy and that use a device redundancy system.SOLUTION: A relay system comprises a first redundancy device MSW1 and a second redundancy device 20 connected with the first redundancy device. A third switch device SW1 has a first link 19a with a first port group P[1] in a first switch device SWm1, and does not have a link with a second switch device SWm2. A fourth switch device SW2 has a second link 19b with a first port group in the second switch device, and does not have a link with the first switch device. Communication between the first redundancy device and the second redundancy device is performed via the first link if there is no failure on the first link, and via the second link if there is a failure on the first link but there is no failure on the second link. |
