PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispose regulation means for locking movement of a movable supporting portion to a fixed supporting portion, in a load supporting device including the fixed supporting portion, the movable supporting portion for receiving a load, and energizing means for energizing the movable supporting portion.SOLUTION: An article supporting device 10 has regulation means 60 for limiting movement to a fixed frame portion 12 of a supporting frame portion 13. The regulation means has fixed-side slits 62 formed on side frames 18, 19 of the fixed frame portion, movable-side slits 63 formed on guide frames 28, 29 of the supporting frame portion, and regulation members 61 inserted to these slits. The regulation members are engaged with movable-side engagement portions 71 of the movable-side slits and fixed-side engagement portions 72 of the fixed-side slits, and locked between the fixed-side engagement portion and the movable-side engagement portion by energizing force of a first spring 14 received from the movable-side engagement portions and reaction force from the fixed-side engagement portions. |
