PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of forming a high quality image that is stable over a long period of time, and a manufacturing condition for the photoreceptor.SOLUTION: In an electrophotographic photoreceptor, stacked-type photosensitive layers in which an electric charge generation layer including at least an electric charge generation substance and an electric charge transport layer including an electric charge transport substance are laminated in this order on a conductive substrate, or single layer-type photosensitive layers in which photosensitive layers including an electric charge generation substance and an electric charge transport substance are laminated on a conductive substrate, are laminated. The electrophotographic photoreceptor is characterized in that the outermost surface layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor includes at least polytetrafluoroethylene particles, and, in integral intensity comparison by residual solvent amount analysis using thermal desorption gas chromatography, includes a high boiling point solvent by 1-50% as a percentage to the integral intensity of tetrahydrofuran-containing 2,6-di-t-butyl-4-methyl phenol used as a main solvent in a coating liquid to be used for forming the outermost surface layer. |
