PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an absorption amount of heat at a boiler body portion in a pipe group structure boiler provided with an enlargement space 7 in which a flow path cross section area is enlarged in the middle of a high temperature gas flow path of a boiler body 1.SOLUTION: A pipe group structure boiler has a boiler body provided with a large number of vertical water pipes 8 in an almost rectangular parallelepiped shape space surrounded by right and left side walls 11 and upper and lower pipe headers, and is constituted to flow high-temperature gas from one side face of the boiler body to the opposite other side face. By decreasing an installation density of the vertical water pipe 8 in the middle of the high-temperature gas flow path of the boiler body, the enlargement space 7 in which a cross section area of the high-temperature gas flow path is enlarged is provided, and protrusion bodies 10 extending in a center direction of the high-temperature gas flow path are provided on the right and left side walls 11 in the enlargement space. Also, the protrusion bodies 10 are vertically-long plate-like members, and stand vertically from the side walls. |
