PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure capable of surely preventing occurrence of peeling in a joint part between a vehicle body and a striker reinforcement in closure of an opening.SOLUTION: A striker reinforcement (20) enhancing the support rigidity of a striker (5) is provided at the rear side of an outer panel member (12) in a vehicle body composing the edge face (4) of an opening. The striker reinforcement (20) comprises: a striker fitting part (22) to which the striker (5) is fitted; a plurality of joint parts (41-44) joined to the outer panel member (12); and the high rigidity parts (24, 26) higher in rigidity than the periphery of the vehicle body extending in the internal and external directions thereof. At least one of the joint parts (41, 42) is provided at the external side of the vehicle body with respect to the striker fitting part (22) and opposite the striker fitting part (22) with respect to the high rigidity parts (24, 26). |
