PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection unit and a hot water supply system which are hardly affected by foreign materials.SOLUTION: A sensor 92 includes: a body 116 having an internal passage 120; a rotation shaft 118 supported by bearings 160, 162 provided in the body 116; impellers 130, 132 provided on the rotation shaft 118; and a detection part 114 for detecting a rotation state of the impeller 130 or the impeller 132. The rotation shaft 118 is configured by coaxially connecting a rotation shaft 126 integrated with the impeller 130, and a rotation shaft 128 integrated with the impeller 132 in an axial direction. The rotation shaft 126 has one end rotatably supported by the bearing 160, and the other end fixed to one end of the rotation shaft 128. The rotation shaft 128 has one end rotatably supported by the bearing 162, and a portion extending to the outside of the internal passage 120 on which the impeller 132 is provided. |
