PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a communication device that is connected with a camera and communicates with another communication device in time division multiplexing to reduce the memory size of a buffer memory and to restrain overflow at the time of transmitting image data input from the camera.SOLUTION: A communication device includes a first communication unit for communicating with a camera, and a second communication unit for communicating with an external device in time division multiplexing. On receiving an imaging instruction to the camera, the communication device confirms that a prescribed transmission period is allocated to the communication device in communication by the second communication unit, and then instructs the camera to perform imaging according to the imaging instruction by the first communication unit. The prescribed transmission period is a period to restrain the occurrence of overflow at a communication buffer when an image received from the camera is transmitted to the external device. |
