PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camshaft to which a plurality of sub-assemblies 50 are connected, and from the inside of which lubricating oil can be suitably supplied to the outside.SOLUTION: Sub-assemblies 50 each have a cam lobe part 10 and a shaft part 20. The shaft part 20 is a hollow cylindrical member having a through-hole 22 in the axial direction. The through-hole 22 consists of a small-diameter side hole 22a having a diameter L1 and a large-diameter side hole 22b having a diameter L2 (larger than the L1). On the side where the small-diameter side hole 22a is formed, a fitted part 30 is formed. A length L4 in the axial direction of the fitted part 30 is smaller than a length L5 in the axial direction of the large-diameter side hole 22b. Into the large-diameter side hole 22b of one sub-assembly 50, the fitted part 30 of the other sub-assembly 50 is fitted to form the camshaft. In a portion of the large-diameter side hole 22b of one sub-assembly 50 where the fitted part 30 of the other sub-assembly 50 is not fitted, a communication hole 40 is formed to communicate the large-diameter side hole 22b with the outside. |
