PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe installation method and the like, capable of suppressing frictional resistance small between soil and a guide member when a pipe advances in the ground, suppressing propulsive reaction force small when advancing the pipe, and easily advancing the pipe with the guide member.SOLUTION: Provided is a pipe installation method of installing a pipe in a ground 10 so as to align with an installed pipe B1, in which: a pipe A1 with a guide member is used as the pipe, which includes a pipe body A2 and a guide member A3 provided only on a side of one end opening A21 of the pipe of the pipe body in such a manner that a side of one end A31 is fixed on an outer surface A22 of the pipe body and a side of an other end A32 is extended in a direction separating from a center line of the pipe of the pipe body and is protruded outward of the pipe body; and when installing the pipe A1 with the guide member in the ground by advancing the pipe A1 in the extending direction of the installed pipe along an outer surface A22 of the installed pipe from the side of the one end opening A21 of the pipe of the pipe body, the outer surface A22 of the installed pipe is used as a guide surface B3 for guiding the side of the other end A32 of the guide member A3 of the pipe A1 with the guide member. |
