PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printer capable of performing a discharge inspection during a change of an ink color when the inside of a printing part is cleaned by using colorless transparent cleaning ink when the ink color to be discharged by an ink jet head is changed.SOLUTION: A control part controls an ink supply part 26 so as to supply cleaning ink to a printing part 27 in a state where there is a reference amount of a first color ink in the printing part 27 in cleaning of the printing part 27. The control part controls the printing part 27 so as to discharge cleaning ink with which the first color ink in the printing part 27 is mixed from a nozzle of an ink jet head 38 to print an image for discharge inspection to a sheet. |
