PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reliably cut a flexible member on a release paper.SOLUTION: A cutting device 1 includes a cutting unit 10 which has a transport device 3 for transporting a flexible member W1 disposed on a release paper W2, and a cutter 11 above the transport device 3. The cutting unit 10 has a movable pressing member 39 which contacts with the flexible member W1 from above. The flexible member W1 is held by a pressing force from the pressing member 39. After the flexible member W1, which bulges laterally, is so restored as to be equal to or smaller than a width of the release paper W2 by moving the pressing member 39 in parallel towards a center in a width direction, the flexible member W1 is cut by the cutter 11. |
