PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of evaluating the intensity of protease activity per unit cell number even if the number or the type of cells contained in a sample is unknown.SOLUTION: An evaluation method of protease activity per unit cell number has: (a) a process of preparing cell-disrupted liquid from a sample containing cells; (b) a process of decomposing a protease substrate by protease in the cell-disrupted liquid prepared in process (a) and measuring the amount of the decomposed protease substrate; (c) a process of decomposing a nuclease substrate by nuclease in the cell-disrupted liquid prepared in process (a) and measuring the amount of the decomposed nuclease substrate; (d) a process of calculating a ratio between the amount of the decomposed protease substrate which was measured in process (b) and the amount of the decomposed nuclease substrate which was measured in process (c); and (e) a process of evaluating protease activity per unit cell number of the sample based on the ratio calculated in process (d). |
