PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent tomogram of a subject's eye in which correction of local misalignment causes no artifacts.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus contained in an ophthalmologic apparatus comprises: acquisition means for acquiring a plurality of tomograms; template setting means for setting a plurality of different templates in a reference tomogram for each of tomograms from which an amount of misalignment from the reference tomogram is detected among the plurality of tomograms; misalignment detection means for detecting a misalignment between each of the plurality of templates and the tomograms from which a misalignment is to be detected; and alignment means for correcting the misalignment on the basis of the output of the misalignment detection means. |
