PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor that improves motor efficiency at a time of a light load without reducing motor efficiency at a time of a high load.SOLUTION: An electric motor 31 includes a rotor 41 and a stator 51. A permanent magnet 41b of the rotor 41 and the stator 51 are relatively movable so that an interlinkage flux within a stator core 51a generated by a magnetic flux of a permanent magnet 41b of the rotor 41 is changed.
