PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording element substrate advantageous for improvement of ability of driving a recording element, and miniaturization.SOLUTION: A recording element substrate 100 includes a first power source line 108, a second power source line 109 and a plurality of recording element units 120. Each of the plurality of recording element units includes a common transistor 102, a plurality of recording elements 101 and a plurality of individual transistors 103, one side of source and drain of the common transistor is connected to the first power source line, a first node of each of the plurality of recording elements is connected to the other side of source and drain of the common transistor, one side of source and drain of each of the plurality of individual transistors is connected to a second node of a corresponding recording element of the plurality of recording elements, the other side of source and drain of each of the plurality of individual transistors is connected to the second power source line in common and a channel width of the common transistor is larger than a channel width of each of the plurality of individual transistors. |
