PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displacement correction method for a machine tool for suppressing the influence of a thermal displacement.SOLUTION: A displacement correction method for a machine tool is predetermined with displacement data in a Y-axis direction for the revolving speed of an X-axis servomotor, and comprises: a step of acquiring the revolving speed of the X-axis servomotor while the machine tool is working; and the step of correcting the position of a Y-axis on the basis of the revolving speed, the operation time, and the displacement data of the X-axis servomotor.
