PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handbarrow with which a user can tilt a loading tray thereof until the front part of the loading tray touches the ground or floor surface and the user can easily load/unload a heavy object on/from the loading tray.SOLUTION: A handbarrow includes: a loading tray; a wheel rotatably provided below the loading tray; a hand pushing handle provided behind the loading tray; a rod-like member rotatably attached to at least one of the side parts of the loading tray in the longitudinal direction; a handbarrow support rod which is nearly perpendicularly attached to the end of the rod-like member on the loading tray side and can be moved rotationally about the rod-like member; and an operation handle of the handbarrow support rod which is nearly perpendicularly attached to the end of the rod-like member on the hand pushing handle side and can be moved rotationally about the rod-like member. When the handbarrow is tilted forward in the state that the center of gravity thereof is shifted to the front of the wheel and the handbarrow support rod is retracted under the loading tray, the handbarrow is stably supported by the wheel and the front edge of the loading tray. |
