PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mop body member for a handy mop, a member that is easy to transmit a force to a cleaning object in removing dust stuck to corners of a floor or the like and that is capable of cleaning by coming into contact with a plurality of surfaces all at once.SOLUTION: In a mop body member 1 for a handy mop, a base material 2 is composed of: rod insertion member receiving ports 3a, 3b for the purpose of freely insertably/detachably receiving rod insertion members 11a, 11b of a handle member 10 which has a grip 12 and the rod insertion members 11a, 11b; and rod insertion member receiving grooves 4a, 4b. The mop body member 1 for a handy mop has a soft-feather like dust wiping member 7 made to stick, in a nearly round rod shape, to the entire periphery of the base material 2 and to the outward entirety of the tip end part of the base material 2. In the configuration of the base material 2, there are exposed outward from between the soft feathers: the rod insertion member receiving ports 3a, 3b, which are formed of the overlapped part of one end and the other end of a double-folded rectangular base fabric 5; and both side end parts 17a, 17b excluding the tip end part which are formed in the folded part. |
