PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scratch test machine excellent in the linearity of variation of an indentation load to a scratch distance without requiring a mechanism which is an essential component in a conventional test machine and cancels the weight of a device coupled with an indenter.SOLUTION: A scratch test machine comprises: a base 10; a support 20 for supporting a test piece on the horizontal surface of the base 10 in the state of standing in the vertical direction; an indenter 30 pushed into the surface of the test piece supported by the support 20; a first drive mechanism 40 for moving the indenter 30 in a first horizontal direction on the tip side on which the support 20 is positioned, in order to contact the tip of the indenter 30 with the surface of the test piece supported by the support 20 to push the indenter; and a second drive mechanism 50 for moving the support 20 in a second horizontal direction orthogonal to the first horizontal direction in order to form a scratch on the surface of the test piece supported by the support 20. |
