PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device capable of suppressing a second pump from failing by reducing the number of times of start and stop of the second pump.SOLUTION: A steam boiler 1 comprises: a non-standard liquid fuel supply pump 7; a standard liquid fuel supply pump 4 supplying a preset standard liquid fuel to the non-standard liquid fuel supply pump 7; and first and second non-standard liquid fuel injection nozzles 2, 23, the non-standard liquid fuel supply pump 7 supplying a non-standard liquid fuel less combustible than the standard liquid fuel to the first and second non-standard liquid fuel injection nozzles 2, 23. The standard liquid fuel is burned to start ignition. Furthermore, the standard liquid fuel and the non-standard liquid fuel are burned to provide low combustion and high combustion. |
