According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for generating an image inserted with data executed on an image generation device includes the steps of: determining a data insertion area on a data insertion target image; generating a pixel space based on a binary code corresponding to the insertion target data; and generating the image inserted with the data by inserting the generated pixel space into the data insertion area.
