The plate (2) has a reactive face and a cooling face that are respectively opposed to each other. The reactive face is arranged with reliefs and hollows for forming a set of channels (20, 30) for circulation of a reagent. The set of channels is arranged with an inlet (12) that is leveled with an edge of the plate, and with an outlet (122) that is leveled with another edge of the plate. The cooling face of the plate is arranged with reliefs and hollows. The channels define a set of rectilinear portions having non-parallel directions along the input and the output. An independent claim is also included for a basic cell.
