The present invention relates to a front door of a building capable of selective lighting and ventilation configured to select a function of receiving a letter. The front door comprises: a door (10) wherein a square hole (13) is formed in an indoor plate body (11) and an outdoor plate body (12); a panel housing (20) wherein a handle (24-4) is formed in an indoor side of the door (10); a functional panel housing (30) wherein a handle (37-4) is formed in the indoor side of the door (10); a guide rail (40) guiding movement of a transparent plate (25) and a square hole plate (24); an insulation material (50) installed between the functional panel housing (30) and the outdoor plate body (12); and a safety grating box (60) wherein an insertion hole (64-2) is formed in a bar body (64-1).
