The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a cathode electrolyte for a redox flow battery and a redox flow battery including the cathode electrolyte gained from the manufacturing method. The manufacturing method comprises the following steps: forming a first cathode electrolyte by reducing vanadium pentoxide (V205) in an acidic solution while a certain reducing compound exists; forming a second cathode electrolyte by reducing the vanadium pentoxide in the acidic solution while linear or branched-chain aliphatic alcohol having 2 to 10 carbon atoms exists; and mixing the first cathode electrolyte and the second cathode electrolyte.
