According to the present invention, a synchronization method using a MIMO-OFDM system comprises the following steps of: receiving a transmitted OFDM symbol through a plurality of receiving antennas; selecting some receiving antennas among the receiving antennas; detecting a time when a crosscorrelation sum value becomes maximum; accumulating the crosscorrelation sum value; obtaining a pre-synchronization time; and determining a final synchronization time. Therefore, the synchronization method performs a synchronization work with high accuracy on multi-paths generated due to the multi-antennas.
