PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens array unit having a structure capable of easily assembling a plurality of lens arrays thereon, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A lens array unit 10 of the present invention includes: a first lens array 1 as a lens array to be assembled that comprises a plurality of ommatidium lenses 11a; and a second lens array 2 as a lens array for assembling which comprises a plurality of ommatidium lenses 21a and is assembled to the first lens array 1 on one side thereof in an optical axis direction. The first lens array 1 has a section 14 to be pressed, which is pressed from one side by a pressing jig 102, located on a counter face of the one side, when assembling the second lens array 2 to the first lens array 1. |
