PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance vibration resistance and impact resistance of a battery element, while keeping the sealing strength at the welding portion of a film-covered battery.SOLUTION: A film-covered battery includes a battery element 7 formed by laminating a positive electrode 11 and a negative electrode 12 with a separator 13 therebetween, and a film-like exterior material 8. The film-like exterior material 8 includes a battery element housing section 9 for housing the battery element 7, and a welding portion 10 provided around the battery element housing section 9, and to which the film-like exterior material 8 is welded. The battery element 7 has a separator assembly 15 where the extention 13a of the separator 13 extending to the outside of the positive electrode 11 and negative electrode 12 is shortened. The battery element housing section 9 has a separator housing section 16 for housing the separator assembly 15. |
