PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo handling vehicle that enables a vehicle body which is approaching an entry restriction area to reduce the speed sufficiently and prevents the vehicle body from entering the entry restriction area.SOLUTION: A fork lift 1 as a cargo handling vehicle includes: a vehicle body 10 which can travel in a front-rear direction X; a camera 40 which photographs a travel path surface S where the vehicle body 10 travels; an entry restriction mark detection part which detects a line L as a mark for the entry restriction area based upon image data associated with the image photographed by the camera 40; and a control part which controls the travel of the vehicle body 10. The control part limits the travel speed of the vehicle body 10 in response to the detection of the line L when the distance between the line L and vehicle body 10 is less than a predetermined first distance.
