In addition, according to the various embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device including the cover apparatus comprises: a main body; a rear side cover combined on a rear side of the main body; a front side cover installed to be rotated with the rear side cover, and covering a front side of the main body; the smell detection module installed in the front side cover; a connection module which connects the smell detection module and the main body to be paired in wired or wireless communications, when the rear side cover is combined on the rear side of the main body of the electronic device; and a control portion which controls the main body in accordance with a detection value of the smell detection module.
