The present invention relates to a flat optical waveguide type physical quantity sensing device. The flat optical waveguide type physical quantity sensing device includes: an optical circulator receiving light transmitted from a light source through an input terminal and outputting the received light to a sensing terminal, and outputting the light reversely inputted through the sensing terminal, through an output terminal; a flat optical waveguide type sensing unit formed in a flat board shape having a lower clad layer, a core layer laminated on the lower clad layer, and an upper clad layer laminated on the core layer, wherein the flat optical waveguide type sensing unit has an interferometer part connected by the sensing terminal, capable of generating interference light on the light transmitted from the sensing terminal through the core layer; an optical detector detecting the light outputted through the output terminal since the light reversely flows in the interferometer part of the flat optical waveguide type sensing unit; and a calculation unit calculating information on a physical quantity to be measured, by the interferometer part from a signal outputted from the optical detector. According to the present invention, the flat optical waveguide type physical quantity sensing device having the interferometer part can be manufactured to measure a physical quantity by an imprint process. Therefore, the flat optical waveguide type physical quantity sensing device is prevented from being broken due to impact and enables massive reproduction. |
