The present invention relates to a stemlike carbon material (SCM) to which wavelike carbon nanocoils (WNC) are attached and can be used as a material for a key component of electronic equipment, and to a method for manufacturing the same. The stemlike carbon material was formed on a metal cluster-shaped catalyst by injecting hydrocarbon gas and hydrogen gas into a thermochemical vapor deposition chamber heated at a certain temperature, after then, a structure of the stemlike carbon material to which a lot of wavelike carbon nanocolis are attached could be synthesized in large quantities. Particularly, a structure comprised of only the stemlike carbon material (SCM), structures comprised of various shapes of stemlike carbon materials (SCM)-wavelike carbon nanocoils (WNC), and a structure comprised of only pure wavelike carbon nanocoils (WNC) can be manufactured by simply adjusting a ratio between acetylene gas and hydrogen gas. Therefore, the structures can be used as key components in each industry by manufacturing a customized carbon material suited for characteristics of demanded industry. |
