The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a liquid composition which has high transparency when mixed with an oil-soluble ingredient such as vitamin A, increases adsorption of vitamin A to a mucous membrane such as cornea or conjunctival, a nasal mucus membrane, an oral cavity, and a throat, and provides an effect more; and a method for manufacturing the liquid composition wherein an emulsification temperature can be suppressed to be low. The liquid composition is obtained by adding an oil phase, obtained by dissolving vitamin A (A), a non-ionic surfactant (B), an antioxidant oil-soluble ingredient (C) except vitamin A, and polyvalent alcohol (D) into a water phase, and agitating and emulsifying the same at the emulsification temperature of 0-50°C. The liquid composition contains (A) to (D). A mixing weight ratio, represented by (D)/((A)+(C)), is 0.7-4 and a mixing amount of the ingredient (B) is 0.05-0.15 W/V%. |
