Disclosed are a sequential recovery method using partial cooperation of reception units and a device thereof. The sequential recovery method includes the steps of: exchanging channel information between reception units; removing a weak channel link connected to the reception units; determining whether there is a channel having the maximum strength while being connected to the reception units; determining whether there is a strong channel connected to the reception units when such channel with the maximum strength does not exist; determining whether there is a normal channel connected to the reception units when such strong channel does not exist; and recovering the remaining links connected to the reception units when such normal channel does not exist.
