Disclosed are an outlet type control device and a system for controlling an electronic appliance using the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the outlet type control device comprises: a power connection module inserted into a power outlet in a plug shape and receiving power from the outlet; a control module individually connected to a user terminal and one or more control target devices through a communications network and remotely controlling the control target devices according to a control message received from the user terminal; and a communications module for relaying message transceiving between the user terminal, the control target devices, and the control module. |
